I've actually went back and started playing the MM 1&2 again to prep. Something tells me though it won't be enough.

Yep, I plan to die a lot when this comes out. I'm surprised that in the video megaman was standing on a spike (while flashing) and was able to get back up to safety. From what I remember of the originals if you touch a spike...flashing or not you die!
