A side-on view of Mega Man Star Force 3

It's been almost three months since the launch of the teaser site for the Blue Bomber spin-off Mega Man Star Force 3, but finally Dengeki has posted the first screens.

These include several shots of the new side-on view that was promised for battles (as previously used in the Battle Network series). It looks like the hotness, if we're honest, but we're hoping they kept the old vertical battling display in as an option for us crusty traditionalists! ...I'm not sure you're allowed to use the word traditionalists when referring to Star Force yet.

I remember buying the first BN title all those years ago... Made it all the way up to 3 before they began to suck. Surely the side on view is the one for the real "traditionalists".

Well, I already saw this, and the other improvements that are being made, this sureley will be great, especially after I finished BN 4,5,6 and SF 1,2,

just BN 1,2,3 left to buy and play and finishing the secrets in 1,2 until I'm ready for 3, YAY !

This series is one of my guilty pleasures. I played Battle Network 1, 2 and 3 (got tired of Lan and friends after that, sorry); and I played through Starforce Dragon and Starforce 2 Zerker x Ninja. And I *know* they have a lot of crappiness in them, a lot of things that are just done BAD. But I just enjoy the battles so much! I hope that the move to Side view like in BN will keep the action fast paced like Starforce has us used to.
