Rumor: Play PSP games on Wii before they're ported

The portbuster may have arrived -- according to the French TeamShift site, they've created an early version of a PSP emulator for Wii. Normally, we wouldn't report on such a thin rumor (there's only a single suspect photograph and a statement), but the idea of surpassing the flood of ports and going directly to the source is actually pretty amusing.

But, since it's probably fake, the whole issue is likely moot.

Oh please in the name of all that is holy let this be true. I promise I'll buy a legitimate copy of Kingdom Hearts and rip it just to avoid buying a PSP.

OMG...Wow, I didn't think of that! You are my hero of the day! I would get this just so I could rip Birth by Sleep and then I would be able to play it and 258/2 Days without having to buy anything additional(well, except for the 258/2 Days game for my DS)

lol Nice find. Nintendo really got a real drummer to showcase their product. Didn't expect to see him in a video with Paula. Plus, drumming while standing looks awesome!

i doubt it. I think all of the songs will be midi's, so no vocals. I don't know what there will be. Licensed songs, maybe songs from 3rd party games. i don't know.

i guess they could use songs like that, and just have tones for the vocals. Similar to KKRider in Animal crossing.

I hope they pick good songs. They said there will only be 50 songs, and there is no dlc :(

7 fps is worse than the n64 emulater on the wii.

i actually got to play SSB with 18 fps, but everything was blurred out and looked horrible. I hope they can get both projects working soon.

This is FAKE. PSP emulation is still extremely shaky on a good PC.

Hard to believe, since there isn't a PSP emulator for PC that works on ISO's. Trust me, I've tried to find one.

Yes, there is one! The problem is no one on earth who's not a licenced developer of Sony(be it 1st, 2nd or 3rd party) can get it.
So it's not the problem it's not possible(especially with the experience from PSX/PS2 emulation), but it's that no one is actually working on it.
(However I still bet on fake too...)
