E308: Nintendo dates dozens of debuting games

We are about to enter full news overload here, folks! Not only did the Nintendo media blitz descend -- as you'll see for yourself -- but we've also got updated release lists for tons of games, many of which had no release windows set until today. While few of the titles have a firm date, we've got month-long windows on several, and at least one (Kirby Super Star Ultra) looks to have moved up from the date we previously had on file.

seriously, My Chinese Coach jumped out at me.
and Heavy Armor Brigade just sounds bad-ass.

elebits and castlevania for "Fall" sounds a bit optimistic, considering the japanese releases aren't out yet.

I weep most for not even a rough estimate for Fire Emblem. At least Castlevania is some time in the fall and Moon is listed as November. Looks like no surprise announcements in Atlus' list. And what the @#$% is this new Ener-G series from Ubisoft? Are we going to have to craft new derisive jokes about Ubisoft games ending in yet another letter? Ugh.

Totally a typo. Presser for DQ says September. I freaked out when I noticed, too.

It's a bit shameful to admit, but I'm *really* excited for Cooking Guide. I can't cook to save my life. I once tried to make a key lime pie and my roommates mistook it for quiche. I once tried to bake a cake and it turned out like brownies, hard crusty top layer included. I once set my oven mitt on fire...and the oven was off.

In short, I need all the help I can get.

Urgh, you're right. Those were two that I was looking forward to the most, just under Castlevania. I think Black Sigil will eventually come out, although Graffiti Entertainment, which is publishing it, seems bad at keeping commitments--Mazes of Fate still isn't out, for instance.

ASH...I've just resigned myself to the fact that the ESRB played a cruel trick on us by listing it on the site.

Though I've heard Black Sigil is coming in September. Whether or not that's true remains to be seen.

I was so pissed Mazes of Fate didn't come out. Hell, Etrian Odyssey *II* came out before it did ...

Wait. PQ: Galactrix is coming out Q1? What's up with that? They showed a working demo last year already, so I'd expect the game to come out this fall, or at the latest Q4, and now they push it back to Q1? Bleh.

Okay, I'm just being cranky now because the Nintendo keynote was disappointing. I'll go make some food first.
