I'm sure this is the dumbest game idea in existence.
Drahken @ Jul 16th 2008 12:56AM
I must dispute that claim.
Three words: Barbie Horse Adventure.
Lijik @ Jul 15th 2008 3:53PM
Yay. I can play through preset music or jam on a drum. Awesome.
I was actually really interested in Wii Music until I learned more about it.
TheCoats @ Jul 15th 2008 4:11PM
I have been watching the drumming and thinking about when they were using it at E3 I havent seen anyone you anything other then the snare base and cymbols......hope it is fully functional......
Errol @ Jul 15th 2008 4:37PM
The only thing that gets me excited is the drumming.
The guitars sounds nothing like guitars at all, it's like its all... midi sounds?!
I hope Nintendo proves me wrong, though.
Waffala @ Jul 15th 2008 4:42PM
I was kind of thinking this game might be interesting at first, but now I've lost all hope, no scores, really cheesy sounds and inaccurate controls? I'll pass, where's electroplankton Wii?
cbylife @ Jul 15th 2008 5:08PM
one word; dumbness!
BrandonIT @ Jul 15th 2008 5:32PM
I am still very excited for this game. This is for music people who want to experience "playing" music instead of just trying to "reproduce" music ala Guitar Hero & Rock Band.
From what I could tell from the E3 demo, it looks like individual users have control over their tempo and note-timing. For example, if I want to hold out this sax note for a few beats longer than normal, I can do that. Not so in GH & RB.
I'm still very interested in this. Now if we can figure out what kinds of music will be available.
Qu1kSlvr @ Jul 15th 2008 6:13PM
Well all i can say is its about time. We saw this 2 years ago and heard pretty much nothing until now. I think this will be pretty fun, given the circumstances. There are cases in which GH and RB just arent needed to have a fun music induced time. albeit it does seem childish to "imagine playing an instrument" it certainly deserves a try.
Hughesmar @ Jul 15th 2008 6:40PM
This game is definitely on the "wait and see" list.
Soiden @ Jul 15th 2008 7:46PM
Looks interesting and fun. I just hope it has a lot of songs, and DLC.
