I knew there wouldn't be a DS redesign.

I'm glad there wasn't no DS redesign, but I am a little disheartened. None of those games really interest me and I suppose Nintendo considers them to be the "marquee" acts.
But, never fear, Sonic's here! We still have Sonic Chronicles which will be the best game this winter, so all is not lost.
At least it wasn't as deflating as the Wii announcements.

Terrible.
Nintendo is too busy counting their money to come out with content their customers can enjoy; they won't be seeing anymore of my money anytime soon.

I'll admit, I'm a bit interested in Pokémon Ranger, but I knew this would be coming sooner or later anyway.
They even had a special episode of pokémon in japan, it's focused around a Riolu that can use aura sphere (something that it can't normally use until it evolves into Lucario.)
This years E3 was a disappointment for sure, I'm hoping some interesting news will come up tomorrow though.
On a side note, this is wii music:

Im pretty sad. My DS broke back in march and I was hoping there would be a redesign so I don't have to buy a Lite to find the redesign right around the corner.

Well, you certainly know how to make something sound way better than it actually was. I guess we can all get excited about a GTA DS, but other than that the whole conference, especially including the Wii parts, was very underwhelming and disappointing. I mean, is it that hard these days to come up with new, original exciting games? Why must they cater to the casual so much? I just feel like this is the start of the end of video games as we used to know and love them.

There doesn't deserve to be a news post called "Highlights from Nintendo's keynote".

I was watching it live on the gamespot site with some frineds and yes they didn't anounce what we all thought but i personaly am excited about the GTA DS and the new GH game that will have the capability to exchange songs between the games.......I wasn't dissapointed exept for the whole spore thing - it sounds like it will be FC's not a global exchange for new creatures (i hope I am wrong)

I thought it was ok...
But IDK, the ending sounded weird... I mean, what Regi said. To me he kinda hinted something new about the DS when he was talking about the DS Phat and the next step and so on...
IDK could be wrong.

Yes, disappointing. Nothing of interest was shown or announced.
The statement about being pleased but not satisfied was very ironic, because clearly Nintendo are sitting back and enjoying their nice sales without working on cool new stuff for us.
