WRUP: Leading the revolution edition
Without a doubt, the biggest and best release of this week is Civilization Revolution. We're big fans of that Sid Meier guy, so his latest game immediately won us over. You can bet we'll be spending a large amount of time this weekend taking Abe Lincoln and the Americans to the top (their bonuses are just too awesome to ignore).What about you all? Going to lead the revolution, as we are, or are you playing something else? How will you fill these last few days leading up to E3 2008?

I just got my hands on an old copy of Meteos and am enjoying it. But I really, really want Civ for my birthday in a couple weeks.

enjoying civ rev DS here...altough some gameplay things aren't in this version, it's still the same addictive Civ i already know for a couple of years >

I've never played a regular Civ game. However, this is nearly identical to the 360/PS3 versions (at least from the 360 demo it seems that way), and is like crack.
(The one change that I know of is the removal of the in-game encyclopedia.)

I'm still kinda fuzzy on some of the details, but I'm taking Tokugawa to the top.
Mark my words, Lincoln...
::shakes fist::

4 AM update.
I took Tokugawa to the top. Cultural Victory ftw. Also, Lighning Samurai Knight Army with 47 victories.

I'm currently playing final fantasy tactics A2. I think i'm 24hours into it now. Which is more than i play most games ever. But there's so much to do in this game it doesn't even feel like i'm halfway. Very fun.
I'm not a final fantasy fanboy, either. Would you believe this is the first FF game i've ever played?
I am interested in civilization, though. The only version i've played was the original pc one back in the 90s.. but that was fantastic. It was for some reason on my schools server... so we'd often secretly play it in computing classes etc when the teacher was (quite often) pre-occupied.
