Castlevania Poor Fashion Judgment

Dracula X's Maria Renard, who typically wears fancy (if short) dresses, is now clad in some hot pink, multibuckled anime witch costume. Dracula has abandoned his customary finery for a lovely evening dress. Alucard now wears ... well, we don't know how to describe his pants situation.
The only character so far to benefit from the redesign is Simon Belmont. While he retains the general look of his embarrassing Castlevania Chronicles redesign, the new design removes the fur lining from his boots and the fur half-jacket thing. When has Simon not had embarrassing character art, though?

This game just seems to be such an abortion. Anything short of complete failure would be amazing.

After seeing "Death Note" there, that image made sense. *sigh* The DS games having an anime look is one thing, but animu fashion? Ugh... Japan's pop culture can suck it.

RAAAAGE! For crying out loud! Maria is a woman, not a little girl, Simon looks like he's heading out to a gay S&M club, and Alucard's look just makes me sad. For the love of all that is unholy, why does Dracula have eight nipple cannons? Who is this Takeshi Obata, and what makes him think he has the right to screw with my favorite Castlevania characters?

yea, this game is turning out to be a joke. whoever came up with the idea to make a soul calibur knock off needs to shot. the greatness that could have and should have been a 2d castlevania for the wii kills me inside. by the way, the comment on dracula wearing a night dress is brilliant.

It's like they consciously made every effort possible to make them look awful, locked them up in Tetsuya Nomura's closet for a week, and loosed them upon an unsuspecting world.

I considering commiting suicide if this comes out. Unless if it is a extra of a bigger adventure or something. Or damm this is just awlfull can't stan t th cra p ne s. (going outside for a moment to drink a cup of coffe with out sugar at extreme temperatures)

Personally, I think the character design of Simon Belmont from Captain N is probably the best one. Why can't they bring back the self-absorbed vampire killer like the one from my Saturday morning cartoons?

I grant something about the characters looks a little off, but I'll be interested in the game until I see real reason to be otherwise; ie. gameplay. Besides, some of the screens do look appealing.

Alright, looking at the character art, some of the design aspects look kinda cool (someone looks like an off Cecil Harvey cosplay), but this pinkish magi-gril Misa gig sickens me, and I'm not even that familiar with the series (yet).
