Rock Band 2 has been confirmed as
not absent for the Wii, so the uber-popular music game will be seeing a sequel shortly. It takes time to manufacture all those instruments and get the "musical genius" process down pat, but once it's done
the first time, it's easy to bang out sequels. G4's
X-Play leaked a screenshot of the upcoming track list for
RB2, and the new songs are:
- "Panic Attack" - Dream Theater (or Finger Eleven)
- "Chop Suey" - System of a Down
- "Give It Away" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Everlong" - Foo Fighters
- "Kids in America" - Kim Wilde
- "Ace of Spades" - Motorhead
- "Hello There" - Cheap Trick
- "Any Way You Want It" - Journey
- "Pinball Wizard" - The Who
If there aren't any songs there that tickle your fancy, then you're insane -- or
Harmonix isn't doing it's job properly. Naturally the full list will be many times this amount, and the leakage may prompt further information to lurch forth very shortly.
Rock Band 2 will be coming out for the Wii later this year.

You missed "More than a Feeling" by Boston and "all the Small Things" by Blink-182. They are pretty clear in the screenshot.

Those were DLC from Rock Band and not new RB2 tracks. Notice the different icon in the screenshot for those ones.

I hope that if DLC is available on RB2 they will open the whole library on the Wii. If so I will at least give a thought to getting RB2 over GH:WT.

Yeah seriously... how stupid of them to release around the same time for all systems. They should just delay the Wii version indefinitely since Rock Band just came out not too long ago. You know, because people definitely wouldn't want to play the sequel THAT soon after playing the original.

They need to release it for the WII because many of us refused to buy it when we researched and found out at just how stripped down it was right out of the box. Many of us decided to hold off for GH:WT or for the then rumored Rockband 2. Now that I see what this game can be i am hopeing that the WII gets its do and not a stripped sown version again so that I can pick it up this time.

"Sister Christian" by Night Ranger would be an awesome addition to Rock Band. I hope that makes it in the RB2.

the official mag got me confused they showed the "reg" rb2 that would come with two symbols to attatch anywhere but then they showed rb2 "redeemer" drums witch looks awesome!!! but are they the same price? are the different sets of rb2 coming out at the same time? im confused!!!
