DS Daily: Gotta collect 'em all
Preorder a game and you can get anything from a plush chicken to a boobtastic poster, to the worst stuffed Phoenix Wright we've ever seen. But, all complaints aside, extra free stuff is always nice when it comes with something you were going to buy anyway, even if it's not the best quality. But our question on this fine Monday morning is: has a preorder bonus ever tempted you to buy something you might not have purchased? Do they dicate where you buy your games?

If I'd known TWEWY was going to be as good as it was I would have pre-ordered for Mr. Mew.
Is that a keyring or something bigger? I can't tell. Either way it's well cute.

Up to this point in my life, I've resisted the lure of pre-order goodies...
...But that IS a pretty plush Mr. Mew stuffed animal...

Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. I seriousl would never have bought that game had it not been for the sword stylus (which is currently on a keyring with a Naruto kunai shaped stylus(the DS Phat stylus, not the Lite's) holder, and a Sharingan orb that'll work as a stylus in a pinch.
Now I just need three Pirate themed styli...styluses(both seem to be acceptable spellings...CURSE YOU, ENGLISH LANGUAGE!), and the world will be in balance.

The only game I've ever pre-ordered was Wind Waker, and only so I could get Master Quest. I definitely would have bought Wind Waker at launch, though.

Me too lol. I got the other pre order as well, the collection with the 1st 2 zeldas and Oot and MM.
I pre ordered crisis core as well thou but not for a bonus. just so i could get the game that "month".

I don't think I've ever pre-ordered a game in my life. (Okay, well, tomorrow....or the next day....stupid Canada day holiday...I'm going to go and pre-order Final Fantasy IV.) I would appreciate it if games did come with some cool bonus thing.
Plus, I don't think Canada gets anything cool anyway. So even if a game had a cool pre-order item, I wouldn't get it because I'm not in America, where all the freedom is, apparently. *grumblemumble*
