Hey, you know what game should be on the Virtual Console?
Rock 'N Roll Racing! This blogger can't tell you the amount of time he spent on that game. It's one of the most under-appreciated gems on the
SNES. Now, through this eBay auction, a little piece of the game's history is up for grabs. The pictured art covers all of the characters in the game, done by game artist G C Almond.

Rock 'N Roll Racing on the brain, we're wondering why the game hasn't been released to the
Virtual Console yet. Actually, why hasn't it been a spotlight of
Virtually Overlooked? We've got too many questions that need answering!

I stayed up plenty nights with my buddy playing Rock n Roll Racing. It is amazingly awesome and if it came out for VC I would buy it without hesitation. Just crazy awesome.

Blizzard doesn't seem interested in consoles at the moment. Too bad, I wouldn't mind giving Starcraft64 a whirl.

Yo, for once I'd totally be on the Wii Shop Channel as soon as it came out because that game was mad fun. Oh well... at least SMRPG has a good chance of hitting the states.

This is the game that should have a sequel, really, with the Wii capabilities, this game would be awesome!!!
I just can't remember how many hours I spent on this game, but they were a lot!!!!

Rock n Roll Racing had a re-release on the GBA a few years back. A VC release doesn't seem too far fetched.

The game used licensed music . The licensing fees for the music are probably too high to make it cost effective for blizzard to put it out on the vc.

Yea, love RRR, greatest racing shooter ever. I think there should be a new one made, with the same 3/4 quarter view, it's so awesome

Ahh, R&R racing took up many lazy days at my friends house growing up. We rocked the Genesis version, but I imagine it's not all that different from the SNES version.
