Life as a King gets harder every day
It's easy adding a bunch of content to pretty up your Life as a King, but the latest details for the new Japanese additions are anything but cosmetic. For a price of 300 Wii Points, Infinite Tower is a tough dungeon with plenty of infinitely awesome treasure to find. The Library (200 Points) allows you to teach species-specific abilities and includes an extra dungeon. Finally, Castle Reform (100 Points) lets you change adventurers names and adds the Temporary Estuary Dungeon. Three content-heavy updates for a grand total of 600 Wii Points. Nothing superficial there .. except that bikini for Chime and new clothes for King Leo -- 100 Points each. Well, lives of kings can't all be explore'n and build'n.

I am struggling to come to terms with my attraction to Chime enough already.
This is not helping.

I've spent 2200 Wii points for this game so far. Got a big dungeon expansion and a new costume for the King. Now why do I have to re-select that purchased outfit every time I start the game? And frankly, once you've earned enough updates to populate every spot within your castle walls and there is no more story to be heard it gets REALLY dull pretty quickly. I played 14 hours or so, unlocked about 40 dungeons and beat them all. I finished the story (all normal mode) and now it's just sitting there taking up space. If you could at least jump into the battles of your adventurous parties every now and again I would probably play it but I got 9999 Elementite, more Gold than anyone could spend. All shops leveled into Max. and only lvl 40-50 adventurers. I'm not even saying this because I am proud of that or because it was hard work. That's just how the game plays out and you'll eventually start assigning tasks and jump right to the next day. For me the new content does nothing about the basic gameplay problems and lack of reward.

You probably didn't need to buy the dungeon-dlc. Most players (including me) have figured out that most (if not all) the dungeons that don't have to do with races, shrines, or luxurious houses (basically, the separately sold ones) can be earned by beating the game several times (you earn certain dungeons depending on your rank at the end of the game).

More reasons that I don't care about this game...

Oh, Chime. Why do you continue to ignore my summons?
