How tranquil is this Tree of Tranquility trailer?
Lack of press? Lack of press? Why, that's all wrong ... now. The latest trailer for Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility has surfaced, in English and everything. Well, there's only five spoken words from the cheerful announcers, but the gameplay content features some items the harvesting hero is working with, like "perfect turnip" and "used hoe."
It looks like a lovely, peaceful game (aside from the vicious attacks). The mix of farming and socializing has always been a great feature of Harvest Moon, and the wait for a full-fledged title on the Wii has been agonizing. Not long now -- August 26th is the time to plant to evergreen seeds of fun. And tranquility.

Psssh. Still doesn't top Rune Factory's "cheap hoe".
Hah, but really. This game looks ... interesting. I'm hoping it'll be better than AWL (which became grotesquely tedious after about a week of gameplay).

That looks really boring. I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd enjoy this, but for me that's a big negatory. Just thought I'd share. :-)

You obviously know nothing about Harvest Moon games...
Otherwise, you wouldn't even have mentioned that opinion.

You clearly have never played this game and come to understand how it's actually REALLY fast paced and addictive.
Back on topic, I'm concerned that this game won't have the promised motion controls that were promised. It might not be a big deal but... I mean one of the key things this series was improving on with the DS and Wii were the level of interactivity.

That's true, I've never played the game- I based my opinion on that trailer, which really shows off those "fast paced and addictive" gameplay traits...
