Be the most stylish person at the Pokemon tournament, not just the oldest
Here's something unexpected: a line of Pokémon clothing that we wouldn't mind letting ourselves show people! The adult-focused "Pokémon 151" series of T-shirts presents selected Pokemans from the Red/Blue era in bold, artsy, The King of Games-style designs.
Four shirt designs, featuring Hypno, Mewtwo, Articuno, and Cubone, are now on sale in Japanese Pokémon Center locations. The official website for the line will open on the 26th. In the meantime, we're left battling the bizarre feeling that we might ... like a shirt with Hypno on it. Another picture, showing partial images of all four designs, follows the break.

Those are definitely the coolest pieces of Pokemon merchandise I've seen. It's like they market Pokemon as more of a part of video game culture than just a franchise. Like that t-shirt with the Pac-Man astronaut. They're great!
Also, that Hypno looks freaky. xP

I would actually wear some of those. although thats surprising to no one that knows me because I wear a lot of Lot 29 anyway. I'm 23 BTW

Those are really nice. I love King of Games, I have the red Ultimate Chimera shirt from them and I wear it more often than I should.
I really want one of the new Kid Icarus shirts.

Wow, they look great. But I guess those japanese nazis don't ship to anywhere in the world except Japan and its prefectures. Basts!

They ship elsewhere in the world. It only takes a few days to get it through EMS.

That Hypno looks like he's going to molest me in my sleep. ~_~
Still awesome tho.

A hot girl approaches!
"Hey, cool shirt!"
"Thanks, it's from the cool mature Pokemon line"
"...Pokemon?"
"Yeah, cool isn't it?"
"... I gotta go."
A hot girl got away!
"Wait, nooooo!!!!"

I like Pokémon t-shirts. They're comfy and easy to wear.
Hey! You're not wearing a Pokémon t-shirt!

I'm old.

We need more bandages, for the toughness!
Anyway, I would so friggin' totally wear any and all of these weaves of awesomeness (well, not at the same time, no). Don't even care WHAT they're trying to imitate (I don't keep up with those weird "wear our logos" brands), but all these are winners -- heck, even a good choice of creatures! I know I'd gotten to using a Drowzee, prolly Hypno, back when I played Yellow (thank you, Versus, for convincing me to teach Drowzee that Dream Eater the fat guy, or "a" fat guy, had in Vermillion), so this is AAAWWWRIIIGHT!
*hoping this doesn't end up a multi-post*

Totally getting that Hypno shirt.

I think I understand the cropping job done on these shirts's shots now (or at least a rationalization thereto): Mewtwo's the only one with text that we immediately recognise. Not sure what Cubone's/Karakara's means (isn't "ko-" a prefix in line with "baby"?), but "Sleeper" and "Freezer" are Hypno and Articuno's Japanese names, respectively.
Hm... It's a longer shot than Pluto getting back into planet-hood ("dwarf planet" doesn't count), but I'll hold out for a while, see if we get some localized versions.
Still... Now that we can see the rest of the "Sleeper" shirt, it's even MORE effing creepy.
