Are you gonna watch this Guitar Hero: On Tour video?
The Patrick Fugit lookalike returns! Publisher Activision is ushering in this week's release of Guitar Hero: On Tour with a new trailer for the rhythm game, giving you a preview of its euphonic allure -- cool kids everywhere will gather around you at the park, dancing and losing their damn minds as if you were Elvis reincarnated.
Because On Tour has an optional system bundle, retailers should have the game on their shelves starting today instead of later this week. Make sure to drop your impressions in our comments if you pick up On Tour!

I got the game and it's great. I've beaten about 10 songs on medium so far (working myself up to expert).
If your a GH fan you will not be disappointed.

Looking really cool... Hopefully the game store here will be having those in stock next week. I can't wait!

I don't mean this to be insulting by any means, seriously, but I'd be curious to see the ages posted of folks that get this. I can see teenagers and even some twenty-somethings getting it, but I'd be surprised if any working adults get it...it just doesn't seem the demographic.

I'm 16.
It think they are targeting ages 10-24 or something around that.

I'm 21 and a full time working adult. It would probably look weird in an office environment but it wouldn't look that bad in other places outside the house.

21 - work in a law office full time
getting the game today
i think the real thing is - look at the age range for any DS owner and i think your going to find it 10-24ish. I love GH but am just hoping this game makes the cut

i got it earlier, it is actually fun, a bit different, but it is good, the soundtrack isn't as bad as i thought, i just wish it came with a proper case

18.
My girlfriend and I picked up ours today. We got our "free" headphones along with it and, man, do they make a difference. Honestly, I play expert on GH3 for Wii (Raining Blood is the last song to 5*...) and On Tour's expert is actually pretty hard, mostly in part due to strumming. I will say this: Any fans, new or old, should definetly get this game.
On a side note, I play Bass Guitar in real life and the strumming is very similar to picking.

I Don't Wanna Stop on Expert has a fun solo.
:D

I may pick it up later if the price drops.
$50 is a little too steep for me, especially when there's a handful of games I plan to get this summer.

pause this vid at exactly 12 seconds, and you'll see that the girl is using a flashkart. You can even see a micro sd.
N @ Jun 23rd 2008 7:01PM
Wow, you're right! It's very clear, she's using a flash cart O_O
But that's fine, right? I mean, she must have bought GH:OT, because she has the guitar grip. So I assume she copied it onto a SD card like she did with all her other game cards, to be able to leave the original cards safely at home, and avoid having to change cards whenever she wants to play another game. That's what flash carts are for: backup copies of games you legally own, and homebrew.
ojsinnerz @ Jun 24th 2008 1:37AM
Although that is its true purpose, I never found more than 2 people so far using it for that purpose. Also, it's possible that they will sell the grip separately. As I've previously mentioned, it's possible, but most likely to be unlikely. Even so, it's still possible. There was a developer using a DS-X card to play the game he and his team made previously.

I'm 33. I got it for my Son who's 10. Everyone in the family loves this game. But it cramps my hand after a while. Have to take lots of breaks. Playlist kinda sucks. Starts off good. Then starts getting into Old 70's crap songs. Kids don't want to play that stuff. Neather do I. When are they going to make these games so you can add your own songs?

The Game is fun and all... but I'm on expert...
I have 5 stars on every song on easy and medium....
hard... not so much... and I beat easy and medium, both completely on the guitar duels... it would be better if it had the fifth button...
It only has 25 +1 song which is the unlockable song... that sucks!!!
I probably won't buy world tour... but knowing me as a fan... I will... overall.. i give it 2 and 4/5ths stars
