Sky Crawlers still beautiful, still Japanese
These latest screens from The Sky Crawlers only serve to cement what we already knew: this game is absolutely gorgeous, and probably still very much out of our hands. The game is set as a tie-in to the film from Production I.G, which is based on the books by noted Japanese author Hiroshi Mori. Since we know of no plans for an English version of Mamoru Oshii's film, the game's localization seems less likely, but that doesn't mean we can't hope! And after seeing the new images, we're hoping something fierce.
We'd take the movie, too. Just sayin'.

Dammit! I want this game! Looks killer, and since the Wii is so sorely lacking in any kind of flight game, this would be awesome (until Pilotwings comes out, of course!). I love flight/combat games, and everything to date has been pretty poor.

Looks really good, but does anyone think the shots with the hud and dials etc don't look anywhere near as good as the shots of the planes in the sky with nothing else on there?

As long as the game's story is relatively stand-alone, i don't see any problem with us getting it
I mean, hey, Fire Emblem 7 was a spin-off of Fire Emblem 6, but 6 never came to America, while 7 did
