Another Week in Japan: Hardware and software numbers 6/9-6/15

Last week in Japan was all about Sony dominance, as Metal Gear Solid 4 rocketed the PS3 into first. The Wii still did pretty well for itself, though, nabbing the third spot in hardware and nine of the top thirty in software:

oooooooh whats wrong sonys kicking Nintendos Butt yeat agian ....thats very sad you know ....its going to happen agian and agian and agian ....b/c of 100 Nintendos Wii games that that poor 3.3 ratings and the proof of Wiis slowing down in sales .

what do you mean 'again'? This is the first time in the current generation that sony has surpassed sony.
Just wait a couple of weeks for when the Metal Gear hype stops. Then the PS3 will sink back to the bottom.

Now, lets seem them continue to do this. For almost 2 years, every single week, day in and day out..sometimes spiking to 10:1 sales numbers... and THEN maybe, if Nintendo doesn't have another huge game out (in the next two years mind you) THEN I might start to worry...because then, maybe, possibly, little big planet / home / final fantasy 13 / gt5 might atually be getting ready to maybe announce their release dates at E3 2012.
I have a PS3 and I love it for a lot of things, so don't get me wrong. But there is just no way that a single time selling 10,000 more the nintendo is going to change anything on this landscape

oooooooh really now Rowdehaj lol this was the 2ed time PS3 out beat Wii in Japan and infact Rowdehaj that ( Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots ) out sold any Wii game in its first day .....due not that it just shows only in japan not the rest of the world lol ..
and what Nintendo exclusives are you talking about ? .......Killzone 2 , FF13 , PlayStation Home , . Resistance 2 , God of war 3 , MotorStorm 2 , Disgaea 3 , Driver 3 , Heavy Rain , inFamous , LittleBigPlanet , Metal Gear Online , Siren: Blood Curse , Tekken 6 , Twisted Metal 7 are all PS3's exclusives that comes out this year or next year ....

Only FF13, God of War 3 and Tekken will all probably sell well. Everything sucks otherwise. If you're gonna mention Sony exclusives, stick with the good shit moron.

yeah right Tyler thats what Xbox and Wii fanboys said about MGS4 and look what happen it sold over 1.4 millon games in 1 week thats more then what any wii game sold in its first week ... yeah FF13 wont sell good .....like they said about FF7 back in 1997 lol .....you fanboys make my day ....i dont care for Nintendo any more .... but i still play the SNES now that system was only Good Nintendo system they made ....
oooooooh did you know that the Wiimote is a copy from what Apple did back in 1992 .....lol and a the DS is just a copy of a PDA so watch what you say kids b/c back when your young i was still playing the NES back in 1983 . just b/c you played the N64 , gamecube and now Wii dose not make you all knowning on games ....

Wow it has Metal Gear Solid 4? A game that'll be on possibly each system next gen? Hah! Enjoy yourself with the fat ugly PS3 that uses copyed motion controls from Nintendo.
