How to snap a neck in Tenchu IV
With the Tenchu IV trailer and teaser site out of the way -- along with screenshots of ninja miniskirts -- the next media update we needed was video of someone actually playing the stealth game. Luckily for us, developer Acquire and publisher From Software didn't keep us waiting long, demoing the title at a recent press event.
The Tenchu IV screen is a bit washed out, but you can still see a preview of how the controls will work and how to stash a dead body in nearby bushes. Apparently, hanging upside down and snapping an unsuspecting dude's neck is as easy as hitting the A button.

Sorry but you are mistaken. Not only is having an established franchise that is made just for the Wii a great sign, but this version looks like a great improvement over the Xbox 360 Tenchu Z.
This is a day 1 for me.

So far, looks good. Will keep my eyes on it.

I'm not sure how far in development this game is but it looks really good, the graphics are okay and lighting looks fantastic which is important for a game like this. However, there are a few things that bothered me; the 'collisions' seem a bit off - when he grabs that guys neck his hands look weird and there is a part where he is standing in mid air (near the end, when he is walking on the beams ). I'll wait a bit longer to see if I'll buy this game.

Agreed. That's an awful clunky looking neck snapping and the magic invisible beam walk doesn't help any toward building my confidence in this title. Let's hope it's an early build because this game looks really good (graphically) and has some serious potential in the "wiimote used for engaging stealth action" department (unlike Manhunt 2). If they polish up, it could be great. *fingers crossed*

If you ask me, more games need A mapped to hang-upside-down-and-snap-an-unsuspecting-dude's-neck.

Looks much more reassuring in motion.
