VC Monday Madness video wrap-up 5/26/08

Even on a holiday, Nintendo saw fit to release Virtual Console games for download. And, we wouldn't be good at our job (or, trying to be good at our job) if we didn't provide you with your expected coverage. So, sit back, relax and enjoy the video above. Then, head past the break for the rest.

City Connection (NES, 1 - 2 players, 500 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it!

Oh, City Connection. If it's not your incredibly catchy music, its your accurate portrayal of what it would be like if a car ran over a cat (the car ceases to operate and the cat floats away, unharmed). This is a great download for only 500 Wii Points. Just stop wasting time reading this and start playing!

Metal Slug (NEOGEO, 1 - 2 players, 900 Wii Points)
Wii Fanboy says: download it (if you don't have another option)

Look, NEOGEO games are expensive. When there are whole compilation discs that rival the price of a single download, we'd be hard-pressed to just come out and say download this no matter what. But, then again, this is Metal Slug we're talking about. So, we'll just leave it at that.

Each week, we here at Wii Fanboy like to check out the latest Virtual Console releases in our VC Monday Madness feature, for you, in the hopes that you can make the most sound decision you can regarding purchasing retro titles on the Wii. If you're looking for other Virtual Console goodies, check out Virtually Overlooked and The VC Advantage.
