You guys need to give some serious props to gbatemp.net
They are the best resource for homebrew and flash cart related news on the net.
You should point your readers to them if they have any questions you can't answer.

It really is a great site. It's listed on at least one page of the guide. Perhaps when we revisit the topic in one of these lengthy sessions (and I'm sure we will, as there is a wealth of information out there), we'll compile a list of some of the best websites.

i want to say thanks even though i knew 90% of the stuff you guys wrote about.
Alisha Karabinus @ May 25th 2008 10:50AM

The only thing missing this week was a post about homebrew dev tools, though I guess not many DSF readers would be interested in such a post.
Basically, I'd just like to know if I _must_ dust off my C++, or if dev tools for other languages are available.
GumbyX84 @ May 25th 2008 12:20PM
C and C++ only from the research I have done.
I agree they should do an article on NDS Homebrew development. Its kinda hard to find all the information you need to start because they are all in different places.

Good job of making a week without any DS releases (in North America) interesting.
Good foresight.
Peace.

Guys I have to say thanks a hundred times over for all the GBA and NDS homebrew info you guys have. When I got my flash cart on Thursday last week, I thought I would just be using it for my own development needs and emulators. Then I started looking into your old homebrew posts. The special homebrew week was a wonderful idea and got me to look around your old archives, finding some apps and games I haven't found on homebrew sites or lists (Ex. Anguna, Tales of Dagur, Cave Story DS, Flight from the Dark, Super Wings, and more). Keep it up! :) I like how you guys are giving homebrew a chance here. PSP Fanboy only has limited homebrew coverage and its annoying because they leave a lot of stuff out.
My only suggestion is to keep posting homebrew apps and games. Maybe focus on hard-to-find or exception ones. Its much easier to read through one of your blog posts then to dig through forums or download databases to find something good.

We really hope to expand our coverage even more in the future, because there's just so much out there. So many simple, yet really addictive games, so many useful apps... much more than we could cram into a single week!

More love for Homebrew Week! Thanks you guys~
