Rumor: New DS Lite colors for Europe?

European games retailer GAME has some interesting listings up on their site, adding to a rumor we reported on back in March. As you can see above, three new DS Lite colors are being shown as soon releasing. According to GAME, Europeans can look forward to buying a green or red DS Lite, or the Japanese launch Ice Blue DS Lite come June 13th of this year.

In checking out Nintendo of Europe's website, we can find no support to this claim, however since it was redesigned, it's been a haven less for breaking news and more for attracting new gamers. So, it looks like you'll just have to wait and see, Europeans! Consider us jealous.

I want the ice blue ds lite, currently have a black ds lite, when I have had for nearly 2 years so Ill trade it for the ice blue

I'm a little jealous of the red, never liked the ice blue and as for that neon green color, yuck. I know middle-class Europeans love bright colors if the bright yellow, orange, blue, green & red jackets I often see on European tourists that visit my hometown (NYC) are any indication. Richer Europeans usually wear black, gray & brown so they blend in better with upscale/middle-class New Yorkers.

Yes! It's true! Nintendo updated their website and have officially announced the colors, which will be launched June 13th. Also, over at www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk, a staff member managed to get ahold of a Lime Green Lite.
