Kingdom Hearts Wii rumor revealed, debunked

After Nintendo Power used a vague moon picture last month in order to hint at something juicy, speculation ran rampant as to what the next issue's big surprise would be. Leave it to heartbreakers and photoshoppers across the internets to play around with our fragile, Squeenix-loving selves.Rumors of a Kingdom Hearts Wii have been floating around for quite some time -- that's nothing new. People were starting to believe such talk, though, after a "leaked" cover of the next Nintendo Power issue was "found" on an online subscription form. Putting on our skeptic caps, we immediately came up with a few reasons for why this rumor was false:
- There's no 20th anniversary badge on the cover
- There aren't enough headlines and previews (only two, whereas last month's NP had twelve)
- Nintendo Power rarely (if ever) features the DS in its top banner, making this cover seem more unlikely

On a more serious note, I would love to see a Kingdom Hearts on the Wii. I don't think I was taking this as a for real, but there are some things that really mess with your mind by getting your hopes up.

I'd rather see KH3 on the real consoles. A Wii spin-off would be nice (just not with a card battling system), but I want KH3 in HD.

Do you actually think KH3 will even be in HD and have realistic graphics? I wouldn't get your hopes up. If they wanted the KH series to have amazing realistic graphics they could have done so with KH2, but they didn't. They have to keep it feeling/looking cartoony in order to make it feel familiar to the Disney style, while im not ruling out the possibility of better graphics come KH3, whatever your imagining it will look like, won't be how it turns out in the end.
Either way, they still need to release those three handheld games there have been NO new news for >.>

I doubt KH would ever go to the Wii.
Nomura is very concerned with new games feeling like the old ones in style and gameplay which means no wiggle/waggle ever. And then there is the problem with the Wii having less buttons. I just don't see it happening =/

I...need...KH3...on...the...Wii...
I don't have a PS3 and don't plan on getting one. I'll get 258/2 Days but after that, im Kingdom Hearts-less again. :(
I love Kingdom Hearts and would love if it came to the Wii so much.
Here's my counter-points:
1. Re-look at the moon. On the right side of the moon you'll see dark orange carved out spikes/Sora's head and next to it, you should see a long line with something vaguely resembling a hand at the bottom of the carved out line.
2. Wii can handle the PS3 quality video clips in the beginning & end of KH games, as seen in SSBB.

It looks pretty badly photoshopped. The actual text on the bottom of the cover looks very fake. It would be cool, but I think it's just wishful thinking/novice photoshopping.

I have absolute faith KH3 will be on the Wii. It makes WAY too much sense and supposedly Disney wants it on the Wii. If that's true, then that's all there is to it.
And oh MAN, I can't wait for that announcement! The internet meltdowns will likely be the most amazing thing we've seen since Nintendo said it was called 'Wii'!

Just looking at the basic premise of Kingdom Hearts, i really don't see the wisdom in them putting it anywhere else
It would just seem wrong for it to go to 360, right off the top of my head, and PS3, of course, has the dual issues of both install base and price to contend with it being a viable platform
Wii has that mass Japanese appeal that SE will want, and the family appeal that Disney will want, it's really the only one that makes sense

Most of those "subliminal sex messages" were debunked, though there was one that was true, where Pornography was put in a picture in an art gallery in the background of one of the movies, "The Rescuers"

KH3 for Wii makes so much sense. The motion controls for swinging the keyblade would be just brilliant. And i've been waiting for another KH game ever since I beat 2, so i'm really hoping it comes to wii.

KH3 has to be for the Wii since Disney is a sponsor for Nintendo not Sony
