Tomy passes over Naruto RPG 2 localization in favor of Naruto RPG 3

After yesterday's news of Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 heading to the DS, most bloggers and gamers alike speculated that it was a localization of Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan. Thanks to Siliconera's astute readers, though, this was soon cleared up.As it turns out, the game is actually the English version of Naruto RPG 3: Reijuu vs. Konoha Shoutai. Siliconera's commenters noticed that the screens were actually from the third Japanese RPG in the series, and then Spencer Yip confirmed the facts with a representative from Tomy.
Are any of you Naruto fans upset by Tomy and D3's decision to skip over the second game? If so, vent your frustrations in the comments -- that's what they're here for.

The closer you get to the current timeline in any anime the better.

Right.... So... What will this game's story be? The first one went up to the Chunin games. After that, in the anime, naruto followed his mentor around for a while and ended with a Sannin confrontation. Then there's this whole Sasuke getting abducted which ended with a Naruto vs Sasuke match, which I'm assuming is what the Chidori VS Rasengan title of the second GBA game referred to. After that, we have a huge amount of boring filler in the anime. Unless I'm forgetting something... Is the third GBA RPG about.... filler? Pointless crap? Or is it about the Shippuuden storyline?
Anyone knows?

whats the point of this game its all about the filler arc. they should have done the second game instead and skipped this one. I'm not going to play a game about something i don't even want to watch on tv. >.> they just lost 30 bucks.

They're idiots for doing this. They're skipping a huge part of the storyline and diving into a load of BS that most people didn't even bother to WATCH!
Who the hell would want to play this!?

what's the point of this game it's a filler so why don't they just keep on the story line?
and for any one that wants the real #2 game (rasengan vs. chidori) its on e-bay for 30.00$ but it's only in in japanese.
