WRUP: Expand your vocabulary edition

The majority of this week's releases have one goal in mind: increasing your knowledge. Thanks to the release of the Nintendo Channel, you've all undoubtedly checked out the Crosswords DS demo, among others. So, will you be picking it up this weekend?

For those of you not getting your down and across on, what will you be playing this weekend? One of the other new releases? Or, are you playing something older?

unfortunlly , i am not playing anything .
my DS still being fixed , its been almost two weeks i think .
im about to pivk up a knife and stick it up my brainz .

when ill get teh ds back , i could finish draglade .

Hmm...something tells that even if you get your ds back, Crosswords DS wouldn't be right for you.

:P ... JK, of course.

Actually incorporating the whole text messaging language into a word game would be cool since it's already pretty much standard now. That's right, give those DS old-fart demographics a real challenge!!!

The World Ends With You. I've heard a lot of people say it takes between 20-25 hours, but I've had it a week and have only gotten through the first three "days." I can see this one taking me a few more weeks to get through, at least.

I like TWEWY, but it seems like such an investment. When it comes to sprawling adventures I've got other things to finish first. So I'll wait on TWEWY for now.

I'm enjoying CrossworDS, the controls and interface are spot-on, but it's a little discouraging to see so many repeated and otherwise unimaginative hints. Overall it's the kind of novelty I can't imagine lasting longer than a week. Maybe if I were a senior citizen...

i've got the biggest backlog ever. i remember buying zelda when that came out, got about half way through when advanced wars came out. when the world ends with you came out i was about a quarter way through with advanced wars. i'm picking up crosswords ds today, after only having played the world ends with you for two days. i'm hoping crosswords ds keeps me as occupied as the other stellar budget title, picross ds (which is one game i actually did finish).
