Australia probably won't be last to get Brawl

According to an apparently reliable, but unnamed, source, Vooks reports that Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be released in Australia on June 26. That's just one day before Europe's release (and still several months after both the U.S. and Japan, of course) but what a difference a day makes.

For that one glorious day, Australian Wii owners will be able to feel the pride of not being the last to receive a game. And it's such a big game! Of course, Aussie Wii fans got a taste of not-lastness with Mario Kart Wii, but timeliness is addictive.

Congratulations, Australia. That is, if it's real. If this turns out not to be true or if Nintendo delays Brawl again, we can only say sorry, Australia.

But yeah, we are still envious of Japan, so we almost see your pain... I'm gonna go play Super Smash Bros Brawl now. Any Australian wanna play a match with- oh wait... I'm sorry...

By the way, Flatzone 2 sucks, 90% of my deaths are from the frickin' level... HATE THOSE LION TAMERS!!!

It will actually be about a day and a half earlier because of the time difference.

I live in the US and I still haven't bought the game, so I don't really feel sorry for them.

Well, I take solace in the fact that Korea will actually be the last to get this game. I don't wish to sound like an arse, but I am. So that's how it comes across.

This is old news. Gamehead.com.au has had this date posted on their site since last month.

Sorry. I'm just bitter that I STILL don't have a game I pre-ordered six fucking months ago.

I'm pretty sure everyone else in Australia already has this game with Freeloader. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The only reason I didn't do the same is cos I'm too stingey to waste my 10 buck deposit!
