LostWinds trailer blows this way, makes us sleepy
LostWinds continues to look like the most tranquil Wii game of 2008. Is it just us, or does this WiiWare adventure strike you as the antithesis of most modern games, which too often seem obsessed with packing non-stop action into our already crammed craniums? We quite appreciate an occasional change of pace, and could comfortably drift off to sleep simply while listening to this trailer (were it not for our ferocious superiors, who routinely patrol the Wii Fanboy dungeon, watching for napping bloggers).
Wikipedia has LostWinds down as a WiiWare launch release, though the official site is still displaying TBA. More as we ge -- zzzzzzzzzzz.

This game looks fantastic. I absolutely love the art style and the music is soothing and interesting at the same time. I can't wait until Wiiware finally starts here in Europe (according to Nintendo UK that'll be the 20th of May). I don't think this game is sleep inducing. The music is not exactly speed metal but apparently you've never played Endless Ocean. I think this will be a great experience and I can't wait to see the ways in which the pointer controls will literally change the flow of a game.

I think this looks great. Maybe they will do a full version on disc if this sells as well as I expect it will.

I love the music in this game.

Seriously, this music is awesome. It almost sounds like Zelda music from either Windwaker or Twilight Princess.

How could anyone feel like this game will make them go to sleep? It seems the player is constantly haveing to do something with the wint to make it effect the world in one way or another. It looks like it will be challageing enough that the players wont feel like 5 year olds (unless they are 5 of course). And as for the music, if you dont like it then turn it off and put a Muse CD in your CD player.

I think this will be the first WiiWare game that I will buy. You guys are usually right on the money with your previews and reviews.... but, I think you blew it on this one!

I concur. This is easily the most interesting game of this initial WiiWare line up. I'll play it with my GF too, she's a graphic designer and I can see her playing this one and welcome the visual style and music.

Yeah this game looks suuuuper fun. Between this and Defend Your Castle, launch looks pretty good for WiiWare.
