PVP video unleashed for new Star Wars game

LucasArts producer Dan Wasson stopped by G4's X-Play show to demonstrate the Duel Mode and Wii controls for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed -- in an empty movie theatre, no less -- and, while it's no Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the game certainly has its charms.

Using the force, or unleashing it, as LucasArts suggests you do, to throw everything you can at your opponent while TIE fighters float around you is a scene we have no problem taking part in. All we need to know now is whether or not we'll still be able to play the game with the Wii Light Sword attachment to further immerse ourselves in the Star Wars Kid experience. Well, this video not only gets me more interested in the duel mode, but it also removes a lot of doubt I had about the game's graphics on the Wii. I thought the animations and the physics looked very good.

I'm very excited about this game. Doesn't seem like a rushed port, there seems to be some love put into this version as well. can't wait.

My only wish is that this mode shown was also online, but I can understand having it in local play.

Christ, I OFFICIALLY cannot wait for this game to come out, I am a complete Star Wars nerd and yes, I do collect many of their things[which really beckons for the whole "Bowser Avatar thing"]. I couldn't be more excited for this if they had Darth Bane and Exar as playable characters. *faints*

nice!! but was it just me or did morgan webb look a little gahgah over the guy she was playing against? i'm jealous. =(

If she wanted him he clearly didn't want her....and i dunno why, she was hot.
Oh and yeah the game looks(graphics) better than I imagined, not by much but a bit better, like mid-late ps2 style.
Duel mode also looks like fun for a bit, But I'll probably stick to MKW or Brawl.
