Probably the coolest Game Boy Color you'll see today

Blurry pictures aside, this modded and painted Game Boy color looks pretty good! It's been Zelda-fied and is now available on eBay, though the Buy it Now price of $70 seems a little ambitious, but maybe with the upgraded sound and the new look, seller auron5881 might get lucky.It's starting to seem as though Zelda-themed mods and paint jobs are among the most common for Nintendo fans. How's this rate among all you've seen?

It's nice looking but I'd hardly call it a mod, more like a nice paint job. It's something that given you have a free weekend, a face mask and some stencils, you could on your own.
The sound-mod doesn't seem to warrant the price to me because I can't tell the difference between the modded and unmodded sounds.

Kinda neat. And yeah, this is probably the coolest GBC I'll see today... of course, it's the only GBC I'll see today, so I guess that's not really saying much, is it?

$70 isn't bad for a one-of-a-kind collector's item, especially if it still works.

This reminds me of the time I went back to playing Metroid Prime 3 after just getting Zelda:TP and seeing the triforce paint job on Samus' ship. It was pretty awesome.
