The DS Life: Motherly love

The DS Life is a weekly feature in which we scour the known world for narrative images of Nintendo's handheld and handheld gamers. If you have a photo and a story to match it with, send both to thedslife at dsfanboy dot com.
As our own Alisha Karabinus can likely attest, raising a baby leaves little time for anything else in your daily schedule. Taking care of everything you need to do requires some creative multitasking. Jump past the break to see what we mean!
We're not sure what we love most about this photograph -- the fact that she's covering her infant's face so she can concentrate on training her brain, or that she's using her baby's forehead to support the DS and give her tired arms some rest.
Why bother spending $20+ to import a system stand when you can just find a baby and use his head instead?

I totally should have done that with The World Ends With You, since Jack would live in the sling if I'd let him... it puts his head at about the right height...

I'm completely getting my girlfriend pregnant so I can have an infant on which to support my DS.
Just.....just in case you're reading this, Katie, I'm kidding. Please do not kill me.

Pregnant bellies make excellent DS support as well.

I read the title and got false hope of a DS port (and actual NA release) of Mother 3
:(

It is my understanding that, unless asleep, restrained, or sedated, babies have a tendency to move around, making them unsuitable supports for a DS.
although once they get crawling, I believe Make Magazine has instructions online for making a hamster-wheel generator, just scale that up and you've got an environmentally friendly way to charge your favorite handheld gaming device.
