Nintendo Power promises the moon

As it does every month, Nintendo Power closed its latest issue with a preview of the next installment, guaranteeing updates on Sonic Chronicles, Time Hollow, and Ghostbusters. The magazine's writers also hinted at "a surprise or two," suggesting readers study the Moon image above for hidden clues.

Our eyes must be suffering from spring allergies, as we haven't picked up any clues after hours of staring at the page. Will it be a preview of Renegade Kid's Moon? Perhaps another entry for the Harvest Moon series? Or maybe Nintendo Power just wants our attention on the white satellite before it pulling off its grandest, most villainous stratagem yet -- carving its name into the Moon with a laser cannon.

Give us your best guesses!

After comparing it to other pics of the moon, the only difference I can see is the colour. Any ideas what a blood moon could hint at? Until I can think of something better I'm going to just go with Renegade Kids' Moon. Well, that or perhaps something werewolvish:)

harvest moon's have a redish tint. so im guessing nintendo power is referring to harvest moon.

I'm going to say it's the Death Star. The laser cannon, trench, the fact that Luke Skywalker mistakened the Death Star as a "small moon" from a distance in Episode IV, and the fact Force Unleased is coming out on the Wii, I'm guessing they're talking about that game, Force Unleased.

If you look closely at the middle you could see a picture of a few people who dont appear to resembe earthbound, castelvania, harvest moon or metroid. I cant figure out who they are but one resembles link

In the bottom quarter, in the middle, there's the letter "P". To the left of it it looks like some sort of face and two more letters, it looks like DR. hmm.

It is not harvest moon FOR SURE! It is going to be a newly announced game or a vc game. I think Majoras Mask vc, cause if u invert the colors, it looks like the evil moon thingy.

Also, u can see dry bones at the middlish-rightish part of the moon.
The NP moon, though, is different from the actual moon. There r little things added in if u look closly.

It looks like there's a 2 in the middle, but that's probably nothing (Earthboung 2 cough?).
But I'm just sticking with a new Harvest Moon, because that is the colour of the harvest moon.

All I can see is olimar leading a pikmin and half the S.S dolphin. It's really annoying me because everyone says that they can see different things and I can't see them.

If you put for finger in the middle of the moon, drag it very slightly north east (more east then north) then you will be on what I think/see as a very tiny olimar leading a pikmin next to him to his right.
