Wii Fit quick out of the blocks in Britain

Of course, we always expected as much. Preorders for Nintendo's fitness title were sky-high in Blighty, with the game pretty much selling out before it even appeared on store shelves. Even so, the record-breaking success of Wii Fit may have surprised the most optimistic of Nintendo executives.
Over the weekend, Wii Fit became the sixth fastest-selling UK videogame of all time. That's an impressive achievement for any title -- until you remember that the Wii Fit bundle costs almost as much as two games (£70). Then, the achievement stops being merely impressive, and becomes jaw-dropping. It also set a new record as Nintendo's fastest-selling game ever in the UK, beating out poor old Mario Kart Wii, which held that particular title for ... two weeks. Ouch.

No surprise at all! But I'm gonna buy into it, this game looks very interesting, and I can already see potential in the Balance Board, and as Reggie said, there are 10 games in development for the Board this year...

Checked a few stores today for Wii Fit and Mario Kart. Couldn't find either. This leads me to suspect that
A: Either Nintendo again decided for one reason or another to ship only a limited amount (maybe pre-orders + a certain percentage?)
B: Both games are selling well
I did spot a Wii in two stores, maybe supply is finally beginning to pick up with demand? Or is everyone besides me saving their money for GTA4??

The Toys-R-Us here in Richmond, VA is allowing you to pre-order WiiFit with a 5 dollar deposit and pick it up on the release date from the store. I got mine last night.

I have been checking all over Milton Keynes (UK) for one but have failed miserably.
There are plenty available on eBay though via sites like http://wii-fit-deals.info though. Although I am a little loathed to get one from eBay.
I nearly got my Wii from there but chanced a visit to the local Game store one lunchtime and got one!
