Hot on the streets of eBay: Bape DS Lite

You know the Bathing Ape DS Lite that you can't get? You can get it, thanks to eBay user garakuta1028! Unfortunately, like all designer goods, you have to pay dearly for the privilege of a thing with a label. Combine this with the usual premium associated with a limited-edition DS Lite, and you've got one pricey monkeyed system.

The white Bape DS Lite is now available on eBay for just $550. Chances are, if you're a fan of Tokyo fashion, you're used to paying that much for stuff. The rest of us will just have to be satisfied with the option to skin (or draw on) our everyday DS Lites.

Looks gay. I'd rather spend that cash on a 360 than for 1 Ds with some faces on it. Even if one of the faces is that of Mario.

The ONLY reason why this DS is amazing
is because it is associated w/ BAPE/BBC/Ice Cream.

For those of you that aren't in the "know,"
those are all companies that are run by Pharrell Williams,
who is better known as the more profound member of the producing duo called The Neptunes as well as the main person in N*E*R*D*.

The Fragment DS is so obscenely beatiful that Nintendo needs to make it a factory model ASAP.

Despite de fact that I don't like white (yellowed) L and R buttons.

The Fragment Design DS was pretty classy, though I still wouldn't pay $500 for it.
The white Bape DS honestly looks like someone just put a bunch of tiny, ugly stickers all over the front of a normal DS. Why anyone would even pay retail for it is beyond me.
