VC Tuesday: Dracula X: Rondo of Blood

No joke titles, no casual Cho Aniki references, no making fun of the slow release schedule, or any of the usual stuff we do in these -- today is too important, too auspicious an occasion for us to ruin by being jackasses. As of today, Akumajou Dracula X: Chi no Rondo, the PC Engine Super CD-Rom Castlevania game, which is the narrative predecessor to Symphony of the Night and also the last traditional Castlevania game, is now available on the Virtual Console in Japan.

Nintendo better bring this over. They might have some reservations with the cutscenes involving stabbing women and what not (Nintendo is supposed to be kiddie friendly and such). But I really, really want this game.

If they don't release it, simply download the ROM (the do have emulators that play it almost perfectly) and it has an awesome sound track to it. Better than the Snes version (sound wise). So what if I have the ROM? What can they do about stopping people from downloading it? Nothing, that's what.

I would be spending so much more money on the Virtual Console if we had a release schedule like they have in Japan.

I'd get it if it comes out here; i guess it would be 900 points.
There's still so many good games that aren't available on VC that would be popular.
