The Ultimate Alliance forms again in 2009
Fans of the latest Marvel dungeon crawler, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, know that a sequel to your beloved game is inbound, however it's going to take a bit longer than you might like. You see, the sequel to the first game isn't going to be on shelves until next year. Here, cry on our shoulder. Go ahead, let it all out!Our cruel overlords at Joystiq seem to think that the new Spider-Man: Web of Shadows game could have something to do with the delay. As for us, well, we're not complaining if the time is put to good use. The first game was a boatload of fun, so we hope the sequel is just as good, if not better.

I doubt that it'll be better than the first. No sequel ever is[except for Brawl]. I also hope that there will be extra characters for the Wii version like they did with Moon Knight and Colossus.

Hmmm...
Capcom VS Snk 2
-I heard the first one kinda' sucked
Super Mario Bros. 3
-even though that would be the trinity, and they were all about equal (and most Mario franchises for that matter)
Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2
-I heard Tenkaichi 1's controls weren't that well-made
Tenchu 2
-most people would complain that Tenchu 1 was the best, but they were all about the same... but now, it had LEVEL BUILDER
GTA 2
-just an amped-up GTA... no bad additions
Gunstar Super Heroes
-It wasn't half bad
And other such...

It's the brawl announcer who did some request work on characters who didn't make it.

Well, every game in this franchise has improved upon the original formula....
X-men Legends was the first
X-men Legends II improved upon the first and was awesome
Marvel Ultimate Alliance (the third game in the series) improved upon the first two games with an new character list and improved graphics, sounds, enemies, level layouts, etc.
The eventual 4th game in the series, if it follows the developers track record, should not dissapoint and will be worth the wait.

So we'll probably be getting the same game just with a fresh coat of paint. Honestly, I'm fine with just chillin in Murderworld smiting clown's with Deadpool and Wolverine, but whatever. They'd have to make villains playable from the start, without having to pay for them like in the 360's DLC.
