More high school horrors: Twilight Syndrome

Just when you think it's safe to put on your schoolgirl uniform, Spike announces another addition to the DS's nascent horror genre -- Twilight Syndrome: Kinjiraneta Toshi Densetsu (Twilight Syndrome: The Forbidden Urban Legend).The new title has two high school girls fending off ghosts and other supernatural forces while they investigate a mysterious set of chain text messages. Making sure its game elicits the right amount of screams and squeals from you, Spike has brought in horror director Osamu Fukutani (e.g. Saigo no Bansan, Jisatsu Manyuaru) to help with the script.
The initial batch of screenshots -- which you can view in the gallery below -- show the skirt-clad protagonists exploring a seemingly empty school and meddling with a ouija board, the latter likely requiring touchscreen interaction. Creepy! Expect Twilight Syndrome to hit stores in Japan and haunt your homeroom this July 26th.

Sounds pretty weak. I think Moon looks awesome, and might have some cool suspense.

Moon does look pretty good. I want to play my DS so very badly, but there haven't been any new games that interest me. The last thing I bought was Hotel Dusk. I'm so off topic here. I read "High school horrors" and just instantly headed for the comments.

I know people are often cynical about evil text messages, haunted websites, demon washing machines and the like, but it's a concept that works well in ~the digital age~ and can really up audience participation. Creepy SMS might work really well on the DS if the wifi capability is put to good use.
Imagine a two-player investigatory/survival horror on the DS! Sort of like Resident Evil 2's Claire/Leon set-up, with each player taking on a different role and given a different area to explore, but using the wifi to send texts, clues and passwords to each other. I think that would be pretty involving.
Oh, DS survival horror. You have so much potential.
