DS headset reaches exciting new levels of cheapness
We've been following the continual drop in price of the DS headset for a while. Every time it shows up on Amazon with a new price, we think "Wow, we should totally buy one! It's never going to be any cheaper than this!" But this time, it's cheap for real. Amazon is running out of the amount by which they could reduce the price.Right now, the retailer is offering new Nintendo-brand DS headsets for just $5.68. You could get one for each ear, and carry on conversations with yourself as you play Metroid Prime: Hunters against yourself (although, yes, one would be on backwards)! Or you could save an extra one in case the first one gets all nasty from being in your ear! Or you could just not spend very much money and have a headset.

I have had my Hong Kong, official Nintendo DS headset for over a year now and it's still like brand new. I picked it up for a bargain too thanks to the conversion rate!
Even if the headset retailed in the UK for 15-20, I'd still pick it up for that price as it's a useful peripheral! (That's if I hadn't already picked on up)

Nobody talks on the DS though so it seems pointless having all these headsets.
