My Favorite Square Enix Game so far has to be......
Final Fantasy 3 :)
Jeffrey Koch @ Apr 3rd 2008 6:36PM
I'm going to go with FF 3. It presents some real challenges without feeling cheap. I've been hoping you guys would do a giveaway on this one.
Cass @ Apr 6th 2008 8:22PM
For now it is Rocket Slime, but it will undoubtedly be The World Ends With You when it comes out at the end of the month ^-^
Brandisis @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:53AM
So far I don't own any Square-ENix games for the DS, but I'd love to get my hands on this one. So I'll just have to say Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates is my favorite.
JackDangers @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:54AM
I would go with Final Fantasy III. Because sometimes you really just want an unforgiving RPG that doesn't hold your hand, or keep you from dying within 10 minutes of starting a new game.
FatalChaos @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:55AM
Hands down the only square enix DS game I've played so that's an automatic win
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
celticwulf @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:55AM
For now, I'm going to say that DQM: Joker is my favorite Square Enix game at the moment...if I win this I'll see if this takes over :)
jrh @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:59AM
My DS catalog is fairly slim at the moment, and I don't currently own a game from Square Enix. But I'd love for y'all to change that!
Roto13 @ Apr 3rd 2008 9:59AM
The only DS Squenix game I've actually played is FF XII: Revenant Wings so I guess that's my favourite. Even though I hate it. xP I'm sure Crystal Chronicles would be my new favourite, though. I'm one of the few people who actually enjoyed the first one.
jsutcliffe @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:06AM
Favourite Squenix DS game proper: FFIII, but I like FFTA more and I've only played that on my DS. Does that one count?
jmf @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:08AM
Gotta be Final Fantasy III....its the only one I got (or played).
Amanda @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:11AM
My favorite Square-Enix game on the DS is Chocobo Tales. It's just super-adorable and perfect for some light, fun pick up and play gaming.
Amanda @ Apr 4th 2008 3:47PM
Replying to myself to confirm that Chocobo Tales is indeed my favorite SE game for the DS, although FFIII is also pretty fun.
matt @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:13AM
mario hoops 3 on 3
ha! j/k! it's really DQ Heroes Rocket Slime!
macanima @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:13AM
Definitely DQM: Joker.
e1even25 @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:15AM
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings definitely.
PPPP @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:17AM
I don't think I've played that many Square Enix games. I'd have to say Final Fantasy III :)
Helen @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:18AM
Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings, hands down. real-time beats turn-based combat. ^_^
lucinda286 @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:17AM
I haven't played any SqEnix games on my DS yet I hope Ring of Fates will be my first.
BlackDS @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:18AM
Final Fantasy III
Eddy @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:18AM
FF III, it is also the only one I ave.
MrHanMan @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:22AM
Final Fantasy III
finally playing this lost relic of the FF series really made my year.
macbastard @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:21AM
I guess I'm going to say FF:III too... at least until they get FF:IV translated. :)
rosemo @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:49AM
My favorite DS game from Square Enix is the the only one I own, Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. I am currently playing through it, and really enjoy the game world and lighthearted gameplay. Of course, I need another game to play after this one, and Ring of Fates would be a great choice!
Clandaith @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:23AM
Don't own any, so I can't say.
LordFu @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:23AM
Front Mission, all the way! I hope they bring us FM: 2089, too, but I won't be holding my breath.
JusticeDude @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:27AM
Chocobo Tales is all I have, but it was quite fun.
nevsky42 @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:27AM
I actually liked Mario Hoops until the computer became impossible to beat...oh, and until the control scheme rendered my left hand an unusable frozen claw for two days...
brad @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:33AM
either Mario Hoops or FF3.
Alex @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:34AM
Final Fantasy III...since it's the only Square-Enix game I have on DS right now >_>
Zack @ Apr 4th 2008 10:38AM
My favorite DS game from them right now is definitely Children of Mana (although they only published it). It's definitely one of the better RPG's on the system.
itsgottabeodin @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:38AM
My favorite Squeenix game on the ds is will be FF: Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
MigrantP @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:38AM
Final Fantasy, the original.
nixy @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:46AM
I played Chocobo Tales, and it was alright, but hoenstly Ring of Fates fixed everything that was wrong with the GCN version.
Paul @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:46AM
DQM: Joker all the way! Gotta catch 'em all!
KamenRiderTakoyaki @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:47AM
Final Fantasy III. That's kind of sad...
It would be DQ4 but WTF is it?!
michael @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:54AM
FFIII. So polished and fun!
RabanastreRat @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:54AM
FFXII: Revenant Wings. TINY CRITTERS DO MY BIDDING!
Justin @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:57AM
Kingdom Hearts... it was a hit with my whole family.
Matthew Peddle @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:58AM
I have quite a few SE games for my DS, but I'd have to give the win to Final Fantasy III.
It pushes the hardware to new levels and is one of the few RPGs that challenges the player rather than coddling them.
Kevin @ Apr 3rd 2008 10:59AM
For myself, I find it difficult to choose any of the new games from Square-Enix, so I will go with Front Mission 1st. At the current time, Square Enix has done good work with keeping Squaresoft-made nostalgic titles with newer, system-focused enhancements, such as touch-control and wi-fi multiplayer abilities. Front Mission has had a slight overhaul, from its' 95 debut, because of the console's stronger graphical output. The original story is intact, the additional story is well-placed, and now the professional localization(which makes sense!), makes this title a tough SRPG contender compared to some of its' DS-only, genre brothers. Namely the anime-heavy Luminous Arc and a formidable opponent, Hoshigami Remix. Front Mission is an enjoyable title for this type of game. My only gripe is the lack of a certain fight that should have happened between the characters that be.
USN FOR LIFE! BURN OCU :P
Still, I did play alot of the SoM-type games, so I would not mind seeing how much stuffing I get out of a Moogle before he attempts to Kupo-Kick me off of his flutterbackside.
EclipseNinja @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:04AM
Final Fantasy III
Gabriel @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:12AM
Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime hands-down! That is such a fun, fun game. Hopefully the sequel (and there better be one) has online play.
Ramez @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:14AM
I actually really enjoyed Heroes of Mana for what it was. It certainly wasn't a great RTS, but for a handheld it was pretty good. Though I haven't played Revenant Wings to compare yet. Heroes is also the only game in the whole "World of Mana" project that hasn't been a big disappointment.
Waffala @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:20AM
Final Fantasy IV, not that I've played it, but it looks amazing can't wait for the localization.
rikki @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:21AM
Space Invaders Extreme.
(What do you mean it doesn't count because it's not out yet/Taito developed it?)
Suichimo @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:22AM
That would definitely have to be Final Fantasy IV, with FFTA2 coming in at second. In my opinion, FFIV is the best game in the series. It had a great story, especially with all of the twists, and great characters. And Square Enix is adding onto the already existing story with the upcoming remake for the DS!
Then there is Kain. The best character in the series and where part of my username comes from. Dragoons forever!
Hugh Jeffner @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:26AM

Jose El Maton @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:26AM
Don't have any Square Enix DS games. Haven't gotten a game in a while. Bought some moderately expensive consumer electronic recently. GTA IV's coming up. Gonna have to buy a $55 DualShock 3 when it comes out. Need a new batch of CD's. Yes, I haven't gotten a new video game in a while.
Mohsin @ Apr 3rd 2008 11:29AM
My favorite would probably be Final Fantasy III.
