Check out Sky Crawlers in motion
Should you happen to be as excited about Sky Crawlers as we are, you might be interested in this trailer -- even if it's just a total tease. We can't tell much about the game from this video, but it sure does look nice. We like the oldschool planes, too, as opposed to modern jets, but maybe that's just us. Here's hoping that more info on Sky Crawlers gets released soon!

Agreed, I hope from now on more Wii titles will give us a jaw drop. I can't wait to see how this plays. Over at Gametrailers.com they have a short (untranslated) video with the producer where some gameplay is shown. Nothing much but at least you know that's not some kind of pre-render.

I was so drawn into that video my face almost smacked the monitor!
This is seriously, easily, truly without a doubt my most anticipated Wii game right now, much more so than any other.

.....*drool* Wow. I REALLY can't wait for Sky Crawlers now! I'm really digging the classic fighters too, just not the reversed one with the propeller and wings in the back, but everything else looks AWESOME!!!!
Mr Khan @ Apr 1st 2008 7:56PM
The thing about older fighters is that they necessitated the kind of kickass dogfighting that you find in games like StarFox, unlike modern jets where you're always a considerable distance from your foe
Of course, as a SWAT Kats buff, aerial antics arouse me
SoshiKitai @ Apr 1st 2008 8:30PM
Mmmm... SWAT Kats goodness...
Yeah, this game looks like a goodin' for a buy... when I get the money. :/
Candace Savino @ Apr 1st 2008 8:47PM
+10 for the SWAT Kats reference :).
yooper1019 @ Apr 1st 2008 7:58PM
Nice take on the Top Gun theme!!!
Carlos @ Apr 1st 2008 8:22PM
i'm pretty sure i'll end up buying this one... too :S
Orion @ Apr 1st 2008 8:55PM
Is this coming to the states?
I really, really am digging this game. It's about time a third party dev with some experience is making a game that actually SHOWS that talent off. If they can make the beautiful Ace Combat games on a weak ps2, then they can do something at least as beautiful on a system as powerful as an xbox.
CJLopez @ Apr 1st 2008 9:15PM
This one, 'll be buying, been looking for a good oldschool fligth simulator for a while, and if the wiimote will be controled as a joystick and the nunchuck for the thrust, really a good fligth simulator.
But i'd rather have em doing a good soul Calibur Game or a Time Crisis, my god, Wii is special for Time Crisis yet they released a game for Ps3
Mr Khan @ Apr 1st 2008 9:21PM
I think they meant to release that Time Crisis game for Wii, i mean, look at it
RE4 beats it, easily
CJLopez @ Apr 1st 2008 9:23PM
they shouldn't have meant, they shoudl have done it!!!!!!!
Man, we gotta fille their mail with request for ports like Sega did or new games!!!!
Fanatism @ Apr 2nd 2008 9:55AM
I'm really liking this game, but I got a little disappointed seeing that it's coming out for ps2 too, thus meaning this is probably just another wii-mote playstation game.
Ben @ Apr 3rd 2008 12:15AM
This is a Japanese game (so far) and I know that's a prototype Japanese fighter from WW2, so does that mean the enemies in this game are Americans?
