Show and Tell: Lies, damned lies, and DS Lites
If there's anything we like, it's customization. Call us crazy, but even if it's, uh, not the best, we'll usually find something to say about it*. Lately, though, we've been blessed here in the Show and Tell corner with some really awesome submissions from readers who've been taking the look of their Lites into their own hands. Reader Josh didn't draw the art that he's used to adorn his DS, but he made it work on the case, so we'll credit both him and the artist. Can you puzzle out what it is? If not, teleport past the break to see it in full-sized glory. Actually, go whether you can guess or not!Got something you want to show off to all the other DS fans? Yep, it's Portal! Josh printed the art on photo paper and slipped it under the clear cover on his DS Lite for a really nice custom look! Click for the larger version.

Due to a lack of a decent tape measure, I looked up the DSL's measurements on Wikipedia, actually. Haha. From there it was just guesswork.

BTW, not sengwiches, that be some cake. Unless I completely misunderstand your meaning of "sengwiches".
This makes me want someone to port the flash version of portal to the DS. That would be some awesome homebrew right there.

Hey,
There are a couple varieties, but my favorite (and what I suspect this is) is an Armor Lite. I ordered mine through Circuit City. Amazon has another variety, I believe. The whole shin-dig costs a whopping 9.99 USD, so it's worth a pick-up. Incidentally, couple this with some Hori screen protectors and invisbleSHIELD on the inside and you have one nearly bulletproof DS. ;)

hey noah, how i got my specifications from a program from madkatz (http://customization.madcatz.com/nds.html)
now before you download it, know this....the program absolutely sucks lol, it feels like it's from the 90's or something, total junk - but you can make a picture file that has the right size ds template n stuff, i think i had to adjust it a lot though, prep it for 300dpi printing and that kinda thing but it worked alright in the end (i made a template in photoshop instead lol, i hate that program xD)

to copa: yeah theres definitely links everywhere to the artist's picture i used for this,
you can simply click the first image on the page (the concealed one) and i think theres also a link on the word "artist" in the blog :)

yeah mine leaves the an uncovered part near the hinge too, probably wouldn't close otherwise
