Cats remain hard to please in Yume Neko DS
As if any further evidence were required, Yume Neko DS proves that cats are These new screens from Dengeki also reveal more on the game's interior design mode, as well as showcasing a few of the sixty breeds the game will feature (happily, this blogger's favorite is included). So, will Yume Neko DS provide the longevity that the otherwise excellent Nintendogs lacked? Probably not, but hey, look: cute widdle kittens.

I love reading about dreamcats, but I don't think I could ever pick it up. It can't provide the realism that I demand of my sims, since a realistic cat sim would involve watching the cat sleep (at least) 18 hours a day, also occasionally getting pee'd on when you forget to change the kitty litter. And if it did, who would want to watch a cat sleep for 18 hours a day and occasionally get pee'd on?

I am actually very excited about this game. I can't wait to create little virtual versions of my kitties. And judging by the screenshots, the Japanese is pretty elementary, so it will be much easier to import and play than that last Phoenix Wright game was.

Why are so many companies ripping off Nintendogs? Is anyone else tired of seeing all the ridiculous spin-offs by third parties?
Look at the ridiculousness of "Catz" (lol, apparently you can "beat" the game in a single sitting): http://www.expotv.com/Catz/3d-1aia
and lets not forget "Petz Horsez 2"!!!!: http://www.expotv.com/Petz-Horsez-2/3f-1aab

If you really want to look at ripping off, Nintendogs ripped off the Petz series (which came out in 1995 by PF Magic) which is where all the Catz, Dogz, Horsez, etc games came from
