Mario Kart VW Beetle sadly lacks shell-dispensing ability
Forget Swarovski-slathered Wiis -- UK retailer GAME has just absolutely trumped every other Nintendo prize in history by offering up this totally dorky/awesome Mario Kart-themed Volkswagen Beetle in a forthcoming Mario Kart Wii competition. All you have to do is pop along to one of the thirty participating UK stores on April 5th and get the fastest lap in the country. Easy! There are tons of other prizes on offer, not to mention the chance to play Mario Kart Wii a whole week early, but we've got our eyes set firmly on the car. It's probably not the kind of thing for anybody wishing to attract the opposite sex, but who cares? They're not the ones with a damn Mario Kart Beetle.

Here I thought that the VW Beetle would be a selectable car inside MKWii.
This sounds a lot better.

That's pretty ugly, but who can argue with a free car?

So, two in Glasgow? Two in Newcasle-Upon-Tyne? And Manchester? And Milton Keynes? But absolutely none in the whole of Kent?! Or even Sussex for that matter! Come on GAME...

So, wait none in sussex, does that mean Brighton's two stores and Eastbourne are not in on it? are they franchise stores?

Two in Glasgow you say? I wonder if you get a good prize or having the slowest lap? I'd probably win that :P
And I'm sure fangirls would jump in your car!

And then it'll crash into a Lugia PT Cruiser and I will weep like a mourning widow.

Ironically, my car was totaled yesterday because some guy's brakes locked up. Obviously, this is a sign that the car belongs to me by divine right, or something like that. SO GIMME.

I was going to say this would be better if they had chosen to use a Mini, but then I looked at it again, and that would be almost as bad as taking a fist full of keys to a Mini, so better it be a beetle. Still, pretty cool giveaway, you could always pop it up on Ebay afterwards, or head to a paintshop.
