More Bomberman bursts onto Wii
We weren't sure before if all this talk of Miis and other goodies in Bomberman referred to the game on WiiWare or a separate game. As it turns out, we weren't the only ones confused, and Hudson stepped in to clarify the issue. Apparently, there are two separates games coming to the Wii; the WiiWare version will be more like classic Bomberman, while the new title (due out this June in Japan) will be the one with Mii support and special items. It looks like a lot of fun, but price point will be key in determining its appeal -- with so much Bomberman on the market, gamers might find it hard to commit to this iteration.
Will you be Bomberman-ed out by the time this game releases despite the nifty features, or is this a purchase you could see yourself making?

Bomberman is a wonderful concept in my head. Everytime I play it, though, I remember why it's stayed in my head for the previous weeks. Don't think I'll be getting either, I'm just no good at the games I suppose.

Classic Bomberman with online support is all a man needs. If this comes out at 1000 Wii £ then I will be very happy indeed.

So much Bomberman on the market? I was under the impression that the last REAL Bomberman (i.e., no futuristic mech fighter characters, no minigame compilations) was on the Dreamcast. Did I miss something?

Bomberman Generations on the GameCube. (while its main mode was a funky platformer) had a very nice version of the classic Bomberman.

Bomberman needs to stop whoring himself out. There's STDs out there you know.

I will (probably/maybe) buy the WiiWare version. I do love Bomberman and online play sounds enticing. That's really all I care about though, so the full version just isn't worth it for me.

if the wiiware version is as "classic" as it claims, it will be a definite pickup...

If the Wiiware one is online MP and classic setup for a decent price, it's a must buy. No online, no buy.

Who woulda liked to see Bomberman in Brawl?
