NOT BAD!
I GOT IT!

God thats irritating. Any interest i had in this game has gone thanks to those terrible voice clips.
Frank @ Mar 16th 2008 11:30PM
Sweet. Never heard of this but I'm getting it now. I hope it's cheap, I want to get Okami and GTA also.

Seven days? Bah. Now, a time limit of three days... now that's something to be worried about, amiright? And Reapers? Now, something big like... I dunno, the MOON falling... now that would be a threat. Who's with me here?
Feigr @ Mar 16th 2008 9:23PM
Why do they translate voice stuff like that? And a background song with english lyrics?
People that like japanese RPGs like them because they're japanese and they don't want some stupid english stuff in there, except for the text of course.
I mean it's standard for anime to be in japanese with english subtitles, why hasn't this become the standard for games yet?
Pie Pants @ Mar 16th 2008 10:07PM
If you own a flashcart, it would be rather trivial to buy the game, then take the text and images from the US game and put it in a Japanese ROM. I think I'll probably end up doing that myself, because I've heard some of the English versions of the soundtrack, and it's a bit, meh.
There's quite a unique use of flashcarts for all the flashcart-owners-are-dirty-pirates bloggers at Joystiq. ;)

I'm not the one to confirm what's been replaced and hasn't, but the third video definitely has a Japanese song for the second battle.
Though if/when they replace, Squeenix tends to match up their replacements and the originals quite well. AFAIK, they've at least attempted to get the original artist to do an English version for A LOT of what've brought over here.
Obviously Hikaru Utada worked for Kingdom Hearts because she's barely Japanese. But Kumi Koda's English singing is AWFUL, so she was unusable. (...Frankly, the English vocalist they got is a better singer overall!)
Pie Pants @ Mar 17th 2008 7:04PM
Oh, I'm not denying that the English versions they've got now are probably better than the Japanese artists trying to perform English versions.
I'd just rather listen to the originals. :P

Did that just say "BLING"?? D: I don't know if I want this game anymore D:
David @ Mar 17th 2008 1:14AM
Jet Set Radiooooooooooooo
That's what this game reminds me of.
Do want.
tamriel @ Mar 17th 2008 10:28AM
I was not really interested into this game but now I'm a bit turned on. I will still wait for the reviews to come out before I jump, though.

Are... are those stands they're using?
