Wii Warm Up: Wii Ware Warm Up

What's your most anticipated purchase? Besides Major League Eating, of course. Perhaps one of the multiplayer puzzle games, like Tetris, Dr. Mario and Bacillus Extermination (likely to be called Virus Buster as it is in Brain Age 2)? A vaguely strategic game like Defend Your Castle or Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King? The bubble wrap game? Whatever the Pokemans thing is?

The only thing from the launch of Wii Ware that I'm particularly interested in is Final Fantasy, but it's too expensive. I'm excited about the service as a whole, though, and I expect lots of great things from it in the future. Just not right away, for me. :P

Definitely Final Fantasy, as for the price, we'll have to wait and see how big a game it is, with the existing size limitations. Dr. Mario is also on my list of games to get. I'll wait for actual reviews of others before jumping into them.

It is a tie between Tetris and Dr. Mario. Both are games I loved when I was younger and I am some kind of Tetris savant and would love to take my skills to the interwebs.

I was interested in Eternity's Child, until I saw it in motion.
I am interested in a Pal release date for WiiWare, amongst other things. Brawling related.

Dr. Mario and Tetris will be required. Final Fantasy is a maybe though.

I'm personaly most interested in:
-Eternity's Child
-Lost Winds
-Whatever Telltale's game is.
Also, the bubble wrap one may end up turning quite the addicting thing. I mean, if it's faithful to the habit it's based on..

Will the defend your castle game be like that awesome super nintendo game rampart? If so, you could bet your bibby I'll be tapping that!

None of the games, except maybe Tetris, are Must Buy games for me...not yet, at any rate. I haven't seen anything that makes me say, "I've got to have that game!". A few that look interesting, like Dr. Mario, Star Solider R and Lost Winds...but I wouldn't be losing any sleep if I didn't own them.

I'm really excited about World of Goo. The trailers have been very cool thus far.

Oh! I forgot that one. Add it to my list.
Sisyphus @ Mar 14th 2008 11:42AM
Definately World of Goo.

I'll be waiting for extensive reviews of the WiiWare games before I buy since they are pretty expensive for downloaded games, but I'm most interested in the Final Fantasy and Lost Winds games.
Haohmaru @ Mar 14th 2008 12:41PM
It's all about the Bomberman.
Sonic_13 @ Mar 14th 2008 2:40PM
I'm not sure if I even need to say it again (as I literally say it every WiiWare related comment), but....
DR. MARIO! DR. MARIO! DR. MARIO! DR. MARIO! DR. MARIO!

Tetris for sure, but I'm also just generally interested in any new and interesting cheap games that small developers put out that may be off the beaten path.

Wait. Where's CHU CHU ROCKET?
