'Twilight Hack' now supports SD loading
For those you in the know (see: you, because you read Wii Fanboy), the "Twilight Hack" has been behind the recent influx of wonderful homebrew we've seen for the Wii. Whether it's just some basic Tetris, or running something entirely new, the homebrew community has had their hands full as of late. Those who were running the exploit before needed a GameCube memory card adapter. That is not the case anymore, as the hack has been updated to support SD loading.
For those who need a visual walkthrough on the process, head on past the break for a video explaining how to do this.

This version breaks a lot of older Wii Homebrew, the Genesis emulator for one cannot load ROMs, however the emulator does boot correctly.

roms like mario etcd
David Hinkle @ Mar 14th 2008 4:30PM
If there is, we don't support it. That's piracy.
The demonstration above is purely for homebrew.

Is there any place that I can get a look at the actual code that the tetris game was written in? I'd really like to try to explore the programming and see if I can make some games of my own.

I knew it was only a matter of time before internal SD slot was supported. I was thinking about wiring up the internal SD to a Memory card slot and running it that way. Looks like I don't have to.
Jack @ Mar 16th 2008 12:20PM
You are so full of it, you can't rewire jack.
the gekko @ Mar 16th 2008 6:55PM
so, can I boot up a ROM of LoZ Majora's Mask, or is it only able to run Linux?
andy @ Mar 29th 2008 11:43AM
Are there many games and apps out already for this, or is it basically tetris only so far? Also where can I find this homebrew tetris file?
