Umbrella Chronicles ships one million worldwide

After being available at retail for only four months, the game has shipped one million copies worldwide. Yes, that's "shipped" and not "sold," but it's still impressive despite the technicality.
Most of us at Nintendo Wii Fanboy loved the zombie shooter (then again, we're big fans of the Resident Evil series), but we know some of you didn't like the on-rails experience. Even so, it's always good to see third parties succeeding.
This is Capcom's second game to break one million on the Wii -- the first, of course, being the company's other Biohazard game, the Resident Evil 4 port.

I hope the success of Resi4 and Resi Chronicals will help sway capcom to releasing Resi5 to Wii as well.
Resi4 was a GC game and has someone of the best GFX on wii. The wii has double the power of the GC so games should look much better.
Please Capcom. Show them how it's done.

I cheer anytime I see a post here about a Capcom game making money in the perhaps naive hope they use the profits for Zack & Wiki 2...

Come on Capcom, get the message! Resident Evil sells well on Wii!
So please announce RE5 for Wii soon! It will obviously sell well and I have no doubt that it will sell even better because many people (like myself) who have not purchased the other two RE games would buy RE5 for Wii in a second.

This probably just means they'll do more derivative RE stuff for Wii.
However, if its all as good as RE4 Wii and RE:UC, it will be fine

I'd rather Capcom make a ground up traditional Resident Evil game for the Wii (RE 4.5 or something) rather than port RE5.
Of course, even if they DID make RE5 Wii, I'd buy that over the PS360 versions just for the controls.

If they don't bring RE5 to Wii or a RE4.5 I'm never again buying a Capcom game....Not even Z&W2.....All these sales for ported games...It's easy money for them and will probably fund RE5....which currently ain't coming to Wii.
