Friday Video: Nintendo mascots 'so happy together'

Oh, the good old days when we spent more time playing games and less time getting whipped bloody while we furiously tapped away on a rented laptop. That's what this commercial reminds us of, back when we'd stay home from school, pretending to be sick so we could get more time in with the game. And when we'd host all of the neighborhood riffraff in one big Super Smash Bros. 64 tournament on Saturday afternoons. But most importantly, it reminds us of everyone ganging up on that cheap bastard Pikachu.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Nintendo remixed the music and just put Mario, Kirby, Sonic, and Snake in a flowery field to fight?

One of the few commercials...come to think of it...the only video game commercial that I really remember - and all these years after it aired!

Why did they ever stop airing this commercial? True Smash Bros. 64 needed advertisement when it came out 9 years ago, but that's no reason to stop showing this on tv...

Hahah, oh man I remember this commercial from my earlier years. It made me laugh then and it still does. Much better than any of the commercials Nintendo has made in the last 5 years.

That ad is truly the best gaming ad of all time. Even to this day I remember that one and I don't even remember commercials from 6 months ago. I have to say that I hope that Brawl get the same advertising love with some great commercials and none of that "Wii would like to play" crap. I am so sick and tired of Wii commercials. Also on a side note if they plan on doing a Brawl channel for the Wii it needs to be released like last week. If corruption can have its own channel why not Smash Bros. I am also hoping for a Smash VC release Monday.

One of the best commercials ever.

Also, the comment about everyone ganging up on Pikachu is hilarious, since after player with most of the characters in Smash Bros., I found out I did best with him. So Pikachu is my Smash character of choice, and everyone had to gang up on me to beat me.
