Brawl screenshot decrypter: use it for good
Well, this is officially awesome: a homebrew program called bin2jpg has been designed to convert Super Smash Bros. Brawl screenshots saved to an SD card into .JPG format. Now you'll be able to display your awesome victories on the Internet, and illustrate strategies with helpful screenshots.
Those two things we mentioned? Not going to happen. The only things that Brawl screenshots will ever be used for, ever, are:

Couldn't you just post it to the messageboard then forward the picture to an email address?
Sonic_13 @ Feb 28th 2008 7:28PM
You can e-mail pictures to your Wii, but you can't e-mail pictures from your Wii.

they do. but with this you dont have to buy any other equipment, well on the off chance you dont already have an SD (and who doesnt these days? i have like 5 layin around the house now.)

This sounds cool. I will definitely try it out.
I wonder when someone will develop a similar program for the videos...

Much, much harder, probably
The images are saved as actual image files, although apparently proprietary ones (That was the only reason i got a USB/SD converter, for shareable Brawl pics), but the movies are essentially all the commands executed in the game saved in sequence, and then re-executed (like it saves "right-A pressed, KO")

Upskirts are sooooo last game!
Mr Khan @ Feb 28th 2008 7:39PM
I'll be taking a copy of that, as soon as i can get the time
RupeeClock @ Feb 28th 2008 9:23PM
I've already used the tool for a few hundred snapshots!
A number of them.... questionable.

Upskirt peach? Great, now my life is compelte
Mr Khan @ Feb 28th 2008 9:43PM
I got a copy of it, but do you have to have a bin file in the same directory as where you have the Executable in order to run it? Because i click it, then the program appears for a split second and disappears again...
Maybe i'll just use the DOS batch exe
Mr Khan @ Feb 28th 2008 9:43PM
Bah, should've been a reply to RupeeClock

you know what i'm going to use this for? For evidence of those insane things that happen in the game. I want to be able to show people proof that I acually did do the move i said I did.

I wonder if this works for Pokemon Snap... or if it could be made to...
Nebinator @ Mar 8th 2008 6:04PM
Couldn't you just email yourself the images, when you send them to your messeage board?
Dave @ Mar 12th 2008 1:30PM
