Sleek handheld protectors let you transform your DS Lite
These cases almost do the impossible. As you can see, those with an Onyx DS Lite can slap the red protector on there and pretend they own the "senior edition" DS Lite. Not only that, but folks (like us) with a boring old Polar White DS Lite can add a bit of flair to their DS, punching up the color without spending the cash required for a new unit.

Kinda neat. I don't know about that texture though...

If they took away the diseased looking texture for the red, I'd actually buy it.

I actually like that texture. Gonna see what other colors they have though. That red one looks like red leather seats I've seen ^_^.

more case colors there, and for those that don't like the leather look, yeah, there are quite a few others. Covers more than just the top of the DS lite too. No blue like the new blue unit though -- so when I finally get one, I wouldn't want one of these cases :(.

its too bad theirs no handheld protectors for a pink one.

I don't really like the textured look of these cases or how they leave the joint exposed. The joint is the part that I would want a case to cover but a lot of cases just leave it exposed.

I don't see how they could cover that and still keep the same form factor of the DS Lite. If it was loose, then stuff would still get in there, but it would have to be loose in order to allow the system to open without any issues..wouldn't it?
I really just want a way to keep fingerprints and scuffs off hte top, the rest of the ds can stuff it (except the screens which should be protected by hori's filters :p).
