Mario Kart is racing to Europe this April

In case you haven't been keeping up, April 11th is only one day after Japan gets the game. That sounds a lot better than 386 days, doesn't it? Europeans can also start perfecting their raspberry techniques, as a North American date for Mario Kart Wii has yet to be set.
What caused such a change of heart in Nintendo of Europe? Was it something they had for breakfast? We can't be sure, but let's hope this keeps up.

I think they want to make up for a late brawl date. I would like brawl better but this is fine too.

Where is the delay? They always delay the best games. Mario Kart Wii for X-Mas 2008!

Hmm, we'll see if that date sticks
Think it's very likely to do with recent delays in other games
The original penned release date for brawl was a month after launch date for everyone - that didn't happen and we're sat on our thumbs for 6 months after the japaneese release
Why can't we have global release dates for all games? Make sure they all work (see guitar hero), make sure all the languages are in place and do it global, then there will be none of this delay crap

It's basically Nintendo saying: "We're very, very, very sorry about the terrible delay in Brawl so your only getting a 1 day delay for Mario Kart, do you forgive us?"
My answer hell no, JPN Brawl = Hard to navigate for idiots....I want the PAL release.....but not half a year later.....
Still atleast no 1/2 year for this....yet....

Gerwurztraminer @ Feb 20th 2008 1:07PM
April 1st

April 1 is just one of the many guesses out there. No official date has been announced yet.

Actually, I meant it as in "April Fool's!"
However, when I was at Gamestop today they actually said that was the tentative date, much to my surprise. I still think Summer, personally.
